At the end of February 2022, TMR began organizing bus transport from the Ukrainian/Romanian border area to Western Europe. More than 5,000 people have taken advantage of this free offer. We welcomed all refugees respectfully at their destinations and arranged accommodation. At the same time, TMR set up a camp in northern Romania, received donations in kind and distributed them in Ukraine. Over time, we completely focused on the city of Odesa. Eleven minibuses, a coach and a truck donated by TMR are in constant use there. We are evacuating from the war zone and, together with our partner NGO “Plich o Plich”, we run a humanitarian center in Odesa where we distribute clothing and food every day. Our center also houses a dignity shop, a café and a barber shop where IDPs work.
We want to help IDPs be a part of society. We also support two dog shelters. One in northern Odesa and one in Mykolaiv. In both, dogs left behind during the war are cared for.
